In the Winter of 2017, we installed this 15kW Grid-tie Solar array on the barn of Mile End Farm to offset the electricity used in the electric heat lamps used to raise chicks. As a result Mile End Farm was able to market its Solar Powered Chickens and get a premium for this product.
